徳田議員の辞職 （Resignation of Congressman Tokuda) [社会]
徳田毅議員がとうとう辞任した。姉の逮捕で、どっちみち失職は免れないのだからいまさらの辞任はむしろ往生際が悪い所業だ。このブログでは、選挙違反の前に、女性問題が取りざたされた時に辞職すべきだと述べた。その後の経緯から見れば、やはりあの主張は正しかったということになる。
政治家と言うのは、主義主張を持って、その同意を求める選挙にでる。その主張の内容は様々であってよい。有権者は候補者の主張を判断して投票するのだから主張が気に入らなければ投票しなければ良いだけである。だから、候補者としての最低条件は、正しく自分の主張を伝えることであり、ウソをつくことは、民主主義の根本を崩すことになる。
女性問題を起こすような人は、身内にさえウソをつく人間であることを証明しているようなものだから、大衆に対しても平気でウソをつくｊのは当然だ。身内にはウソをつくが赤の他人にはウソをつかないなんてあるはずがない。だから立候補する資格がない。
人間は不完全なものだ。脛に傷を持つ人は少なくない。女性問題を起こすような人物に国会議員の資格がないなどと言えば、やたら堅い意見だという人がいる。そんな清廉潔白を政治家に要求するのは無理だなどと言う人もいるだろう。しかし、それは違う。全ての人に完全性を求めるのではない。国会議員は100万人に1人の「選良」なのである。100万人に1人の逸材が、ウソつきをであっていいはずがない。
国会議員や地方首長は我々の命を預けるような人である。場合によっては多くの人の命さえ失うことを決める権限を持っているのだ。しかるに、鹿児島2区では、現実に徳田毅議員に投票した人が多かった。多くの人は、国会議員を、あまりにも軽々しく考えすぎている。徳田議員は、やはり妻を欺いただけでなく選挙民も欺いていたことが明らかになった。
この意味では、選良としての資格のがない輩はいっぱいいる。全て、即刻辞任すべきだ。枡添東京都知事もそうだし、橋下逢坂市長もそうだ。こういう連中は平気で選挙民を欺くということが、明らかな人間である。主義主張や政策に関わらず、まず選ぶ対象から排除すべき人間なのである。
Congressman Tokuda finally resigned. Since his sister condemned the election law violation, it is obvious that his seat will be taken out any way. In that sense, he did not know when to give up. He should have resigned when his affair was reviled as I wrote on this blog. I was right. The consequences after that tells it by it self.
Politicians ask agreement on his opinion through the elections. He may have any kind of opinions. If you don’t like it you would not vote for him. The minimum requirement for the political candidate is to tell truth on his opinion. If he is a liar, it all destroys the fundamental of the democracy system.
A person who cheat his wife is a person who tells lie to his family. No one who tells lie even to his family can not be honest to the others. Liar should not be a representative of the people.
Men are not perfect. Many people has something to be hided. It might sound too square when a person having affair with the other woman should not be an election candidate. Somebody might say demanding absolute honesty is too much for politicians. That is wrong. Everybody can not be perfect but the representative is a person who is selected one out of million. A liar is out of scope for the representative.
Our lives sometimes depend on the politicians. They have power to decide things that might be fatal to us all. But many people voted for him in word 2 of Kagoshima. Shame on people who vote in elections with no seriousness. Now it is very clear a person who cheats his wife, like Mr. Tokuda, is a person who cheats all the citizen.
There are more who lacks of capacity. They should all resin right now. Governor Masuzoe of Tokyo and Mayer Hashimoto of Osaka are among them. It is clear that they tell lie without hesitation. They should not be even candidates of any elections what so ever regardless their political opinions.
